Felicite Parmentier - an alba, and one of my favourites from Heron Manor
Honorine de Brabant - bourbon. Stripey. OK, actually.
Maiden’s Blush - alba. Grown by Jean at Boughton Aluph.Fantain Latour - grown over supports, huge and rangy, beautiful flowers that cut well.
Bobbie James - giant, unstoppable rambler, on the chicken run. A Kiftsgate offspring.
Little Rambler - a new one for me, bought for Little Girl, also on chicken run.
Madame Plantier - seen growing at Rosemary’s house, now by my front door.
Nathalie Nypels - spent a year in a plastic bag before coming to me, seems to be a good modern repeat flowerer - a good pink floribunda.
Constance Spry - can’t go wrong with this one. She’s a whopper and very floriferous, if that’s not a tautology.
Grouse - ground cover, ridiculously rampant.
Rosa glauca - wonderful glaucous leaves and pale pink flowers.
Rosa nitida - small, spiny and suckering; has attractive hips if you don’t have chickens.
